Language Arts

Language arts is the longest block in our schedule, and in kindergarten, learning letter sounds is essential for developing reading and writing skills. To make this process enjoyable and engaging, I incorporate fun activities alongside the Benchmark curriculum. I create exciting writing topics and crafts for students to complete during morning work as a review. This ensures they receive both the required curriculum during language arts time and additional writing practice in the morning.
